Steven Le Vine is founder and president of Los Angeles-based grapevine pr + consulting, a full-service entertainment and lifestyle PR agency he launched in 2006. A gifted and well-respected media influencer, Steven blends his acute sense of what sells with his intense skill to craft creative story ideas, bringing his clients solid exposure in countless print and digital media outlets. All of this culminates into meticulously crafted media relations campaigns that target influential demographics.
As a current contributor and commentator for prominent consumer business publications such as Forbes and Entrepreneur, and a founding member of the Forbes Agency Council, Steven has covered topics ranging from PR to entrepreneurship to entertainment. Le Vine has been named a “Rising Star” by Global Business Magazine and has also been honored with a “Power 30” Award from the Apex Society. He contributes his time mentoring students on business through the Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship (NFTE).
Steven began his career in Public Relations in his home state of New Jersey first in a boutique integrated marketing and PR agency where he successfully organized community events to support economic growth of local municipalities, as well as conducted press outreach for a sizable roster of clients ranging from Business Improvement Districts (BIDs) to street fairs and festivals, as well as the founder's personal PR. He then took a position at a midsize PR firm specializing in real estate and professional services clients, where he worked autonomously on behalf of some clients, and as part of vertical-specific teams where his specific expertise was leveraged throughout the agency's client roster. He concurrently co-founded and co-chaired a municipal public affairs committee to position the New Jersey town as a vibrant community and viable tourist destination. Driven by his entrepreneurial spirit, Le Vine then went on to found grapevine pr + consulting.
Laura Heckman is VP of Social Media for grapevine pr + consulting, and co-founder of grapevine pr Nashville. With nearly a decade of experience as one of the entertainment industry's go-to social media strategists, Laura's technological savvy and extensive knowledge of pop culture has led to numerous collaborative partnerships in both the music and entertainment fields with companies like Emma Capital, and respected entertainment artists and lifestyle brands, such as acclaimed producer/director Kenneth Kokin (The Usual Suspects), illustrious designer Marilynn Taylor, and emerging singer/songwriter Kendall Rucks. She has consulted with and managed social media campaigns for high profile clients in television and film, music, real estate, and interior design. Her approach is simple, yet effective: keep your finger on society's pulse, showcase the strengths of your clients, and treat each client like your only client. A native of Nashville, Tennessee, Laura holds a degree in Business and Consumer Science from the University of Tennessee - Knoxville. She currently divides her time between Nashville and Los Angeles, where she can be soaking up the scene or discovering the next social media sensation.
